DESCRIPTION:An experimental format\, similar to the “Fast Classical” currently being trialed by FIDE – such time controls are already allowed for U1800 players.\n\nAn opportunity to play (up to) 5 FIDE rated games in a day\, for those who have FIDE rating U1800 or no FIDE rating at all.\n\nWe’re using a 40 20 time control\, and we’ll be running 5 rounds in the day – though we appreciate some players might want to take a half-point bye or two. Games at: 10am\, 12.15pm\, 2.30pm\, 4.45pm\, 7pm\n\nPrizes will be depending on entry\, but the low entry fees (£18.50 with a FIDE rating\, £25 without). Prizes/freebies for all. Free buffet.
