BBCA FIDE-RATED RAPID TOURNAMENT Micro Business Park Hall  50B Greatorex Street, London E1 5NP, UK  Near Brick Lane, in the heart of the East End Date: Sunday 13 September 2026  Time: 2:00 pm –7:00pm  Registration: 2:00pm Clock starts: 3:00pm sharp_ The British Bangla Chess Association (BBCA) is proud to organise another 6-round FIDE-rated rapid tournament. The venue is a 5-minute walk from Whitechapel, Aldgate East, and Aldgate Underground stations. TOURNAMENT DETAILS Time Control: 10 minutes + 05 seconds increment per move from move 1.  Format: 2 separate sections  1.  OPEN – open to all players  2.  MAJOR – For players rated U 1700 Rating: The higher of your September 2026 FIDE Rapid or ECF Rapid rating will be used.  If you have no rapid ratings, Standard or Blitz ratings will be used.  Unrated players are welcome but will receive 50% of any prize and are not eligible for rating prizes. PRIZES FOR BOTH SECTIONS We are pleased to inform you that the prize money for both sections have been increased although we have kept the entry fee unchanged. *1st Prize: £100 * 2nd Prize: £60 *Rating Prizes: 6x £35 each for U 2000, U1900, U1800, U1500, U1200 & U1000   No player can win more than one prize. Tied prizes will be shared equally. All Junior participants will be awarded a BBCA medal. ENTRY FEE £25 per player for both sections  £20 discounted for: BBCA members, adult female players, and juniors until 18th Birthday. ((Born on or after 2008). BBCA junior members will pay £15. Titled Players – titled players, including GM, IM, FM and CM may participate without paying prior entry fee. However, their entry fee will be deducted from the prize money if they win any prize.
